About Me

I am Danish and have lived in England for 15 years. Despite my accent, I feel more British now, although I know how difficult settling in another country can be.

I have travelled a large part of the world and I have previously lived in Denmark, Spain, and France.

I speak Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, English and German, plus a bit of Spanish and Hebrew.

I am forever curious about people, families, cultures and societies, and I bring that curiosity to my meetings. 

I am interested in you, your story and why your life has made the turns & twists it has. Together, we can begin to make sense of your experiences, explore your feelings and open up for a new path ahead of you.

When not in my private office, I am seeing clients at a medical trauma-center and I have also worked at a mental health charity.  

In between my mental health work, I help a charity organisation and frequently travel to Zambia and Zimbabwe, setting up free schools in deprived areas. This is a project that is very dear to me and helps me grow as a human.

I hold memberships with UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapists), EATA (European Association of Transactional Analysis), and UKATA (UK Association of Transactional Analysis). I am fully insured and I am a member with ICO (Information Commissioner's Office). I have a full DBS certificate and I hold a safeguarding certificate. I am working towards my Master's level in Transactional Analysis psychotherapy, in which I have finished Advanced level 4 and I am working on my final dissertation.

My office is located at the beautiful Hestercombe Gardens, which allows for free parking and a tranquil setting that can also be used for outdoor therapy. During our online assessment we can discuss which therapy-setting is best for you.

I hold a first aid certificate and always carry a small first aid kit when outdoors with clients.
